Whether cooking, or just hanging out, this is a kitchen that's truly the center of the home! Anchored my a massive island, Amish-made from repurposed Ohio barn wood, there's plenty of room to spread out. Dekton counter tops throughout offer a luxurious finish. Stainless Steel appliances include a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, range/oven, & microwave. A large pantry with plenty of storage borders a separate dining area for meals, games, or conversation, featuring a live edge walnut table, and custom chairs. A coffee maker with assorted coffees & teas to suit every taste is a welcome choice, and a toaster adds breakfast options. Quality cookware, dishes, utensils, even supplies like paper towels, napkins, & soap....it's all here!
A beautiful floor-to-ceiling stacked stone gas fireplace is the focal point, with an integrated 50" flat screen smart TV & DVD player. A comfy couch, chair, pillows & blankets, and poofs for your feet will help everyone in your group relax! Reclaimed Ohio barn wood tables and a ceiling fan add the finishing touch.
A cozy love seat with blankets, pillows, & poofs is a great spot to settle in for a movie on the 32" flat screen smart TV & DVD player, or escape with a good book. Behind the lounge area, you'll find a GE Profile 2-in-1 laundry machine.
The master with on-suite features a luxurious queen bed, dual night stands, a dresser, mirror, and ceiling fan. A clock radio with wireless charging pad makes night time phone charging a snap. Blankets, multiple pillow choices, and barn door style privacy shutters on the window are sure to please. The secondary bedroom features a full size memory foam bed, and three drawer night stand/dresser. Plenty of blankets and pillows will keep everyone comfy, and barn door style shutters on the window ensure privacy. Both bedrooms have closets with plenty of hooks & hangers for clothes.
The upstairs half bath features a vessel sink on a reclaimed Ohio barn wood vanity. The downstairs full bath includes a custom tile walk-in shower for a luxurious spa-like experience. Soaps, shampoos, and quality towels are included.
StarLink internet & wifi, Fubo & OTA TV, 50" & 32" flat screen smart TV's w/DVD players, large selection of DVD movies. We also have a good selection of board games, puzzles, and cards for family fun.
During vacancy, the cabin is protected with a Simpli Safe security system with live 24/7 monitoring. Plentiful outdoor lighting enhances night time security. Smoke & CO detectors on each floor are monitored 24/7. A kitchen fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and bug spray is also provided.
NEW! We are EV friendly! L2 36A J1772 EV charging is now available on-site! An Amana 90+ efficient heat pump, propane furnace, and central air keeps things comfortable year around. An additional dehumidifier on the walk-out level ensures comfort in every season. Every interior wall is filled with RockWool sound insulation for exceptionally quiet/private rooms. Electric power is supplied by South Central Power via the grid, while a private sewage treatment system is paired with a private water well. Water quality is exceptional, with a final polish provided by the filter & softener, yielding healthy refreshing water with a nearly perfect ph of 7.5. All windows & doors are screened, so on those perfect days, open up and let the fresh air in!
Enjoy 2 wooded acres high atop the western side of Harble Ridge, and take in the glorious Hocking Hills sunsets! When you're ready to venture out, all the parks are just minutes away, 6 miles to Old Man's Cave! If you forgot something, no worries, the town of Logan is just 10 minutes to Walmart. For all the major shopping & dining choices, Lancaster is just 20 minutes.
